Firewall bypass update

Well after several year, the firewall bypass is finally going to retire; well kind of.
I will no longer be accepting new registrations for the system. The people that currently have access can keep it, however if you want access to the firewall bypass now I have something new for you.
The firewall bypass was always a very popular part of the site, so popular in fact it cost me hundreds of pounds in extra server costs. So I have decided to setup a site dedicated to helping you get where you need to!
iunctio is the new home of the firewall bypass. It’s also much improved. It’s fully automated user setup and subscription. You can manage your own setup and subscription giving you full control. There is also a dedicated helpdesk for any problems or suggestions you have.
I will keep the firewall bypass page up and running with a link to the new site. So fear not! The bypass has not gone forever, it’s only moved house!

Goodbye 2008, hello 2009!

Well that’s 2008 nearly done and dusted. It’s been a good year, certainly an improvement on 2007! 2009 is going to be crazy busy, work is very quiet so I’m gonna have to really pull out the stops to make sure the business keeps on the right track. On a site related note I want to move Stevieb.net to a new hosting company. It’s outgrown the server I’m on so a dedicated server is in order I think. This will of course mean a wee bit of downtime, but ultimately will allow me to really push and develop the site to enable me to offer a real wide range of new services. So have a great festive season and a happy new year!

Today I totally wiped the site and started fresh. The previous install was riddled with bugs and issues, so by starting fresh with a clean slate I should have cleared the lot of them.
I also refreshed all the links I had posted and have added a link to my new photography page.
If you spot any errors, or you find something missing please let me know.

Aye it’s been just a wee while since I last updated the site. Since the last update I got married, started a few new sites and generally have been a busy bee!
The new proxy setup seems to be working well, although I suspect some people are sharing their usernames and passwords; this drives up bandwidth so I’m looking for a way to restrict multiple logins. I have a few solutions in the pipeline so expect to see multi-logins change soon, you know who you are!
Other than that life is good, eagerly awaiting a few Xbox games, Tom Clancy’s End War, Fable 2 and Fallout 3, I can’t wait! Although if I don’t want to get divorced a few months into marriage I better not get too addicted!
