Changes to the Firewall Bypass.

Over the past few months, the bandwidth costs generated by Stevieb.net have been a tough nut to swallow. Costs are increasing, and they all come down to the proxy.

I could of course just make you all pay to use it, thus helping pay towards costs of running the site, however I’m not one for paid services so I decided not to bother. :D

So now when you access the proxy, there is a redirection page with a donation button and a brief statement. I’ll leave you to read it for youself, feel free to help me out if you feel it’s worth it. ;)

I work as a Recruitment Consultant in Elgin, and I have a few vacancies I need help filling.

So if anyone knows any Joiners,Brick layers or Building Surveyors give me a shout. The Joiners and Brick layers are for long term temp contracts (Good hourly rate too!), with the potential to be permanent in the future. The Building Surveyor position is a permanent position up here, the money is good and it’s a nice easy nine to five with no weekend work.

Happy New Year!

Another year down, to be honest 2007 was a bit of a shitter at times, 2 very close family deaths, as a result we had to move twice, so much upheaval, but now I’m settled in a new job and charging toward my wedding in September 2008 maybe isn’t going to be as bad, apart from the fact it’s going to cost me thousands I dare it it will be just the tonic we need to focus.

In regards to the site, I want to try and make a number of improvements this year, make it fast, more useful features and generally a better place to use. So if anyone has ANY suggestions, no matter what they are, it can be anything you would find useful to be web based. In the past I have setup free file hosting for images etc, I have had an arcade I even at one point had a Bebo/Myspace kind thing setup but it faded away.

So, c’mon guys, hit me with everything you got! Contact me if you have any ideas, and I’ll see if I can put em in motion!
